Your Path
"I never liked to workout. That changed when my husband and I joined Bridge Performance Plus. I'm a workout convert thanks to Jeannie, Amy, and Astrid!"
Laurie Tixier · Bridge+ member
Bridge+ is a small-group strength program that runs three times a week, designed specifically for people who want to train seriously as they age. Every session is led by Jeannie, a licensed physical therapist and Amy Pike's mother, who brings both clinical depth and decades of practical experience to every class.
Programming targets the things that actually matter for long-term health: bone density, muscle strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular function. Exercises are individually scaled. Whether you're 60 and strong or 80 and rebuilding, the session meets you where you are.
If your doctor has mentioned bone density, balance, or strength, this is exactly the kind of program they're referring to. We provide a fitness base that carries over into everyday life and the years ahead.
"Amy and Astrid assisted in my recovery from two total knee replacements. My independence, health, strength, mobility and relevance are dependent on my enjoyment of doing a work out. They make certain of my success by listening to me and observing how I'm moving during workouts. They will listen to you, invest in you, and scale your workouts to keep you healthy, strong and wanting to come back."

How it starts
Every new Bridge member starts with a free 45-minute Movement Assessment. You'll tell us about your goals, fitness history, and anything you anticipate. We run a simple movement screen to understand where you are physically and what approach makes the most sense for you.
It's a real conversation, not a sales pitch. You'll meet Jeannie, see the space, and walk away with a clear picture of what the program looks like for you specifically.
Common questions
There's no strict age minimum. Bridge+ is designed for people who want to train seriously as they age. Some members are in their mid-50s, others are in their 80s. Your Movement Assessment will tell us if it's the right fit.
Yes. Bridge+ is built to scale to every ability level. Jeannie has worked with members who have never touched a barbell and with people who were competitive athletes decades ago. Everyone starts at their own baseline.
Resistance training is one of the best things you can do for bone density and joint health after a replacement, when it's done correctly. Jeannie is a licensed physical therapist. She knows the difference, and she builds every session around what's safe for your specific body.
We don't accept Silver Sneakers or insurance at this time. Bridge+ runs on a punchcard: 12 classes for $216, which works out to $18 per class. Reach out if you have questions about what works for your situation.
