Path 01 Get Stronger

You don't need an injury history or a competition goal to train here. Start with Foundations and move into Bridge Performance classes — real coaching, small groups, at your pace.

Path 02 Managing or Recovering from Injury

Amy spent 11 years in inpatient physical therapy before opening Bridge. We work with people coming out of surgery, managing chronic conditions, and rebuilding after setbacks — at your pace, not the class pace.

Path 03 Strength & Longevity

Bridge+ is strength training run by Jeannie, a licensed physical therapist, in small groups built for people who want to stay independent for decades. This isn't senior fitness. It's real training, with a PT in the room every session.

Why Us

We see you as a whole person — not a symptom or an outcome.

Bridge Performance is a strength-forward gym that bridges the gap between treatment and training. We offer programming with sustainability and longevity in mind — and we walk through the process with you, equipping you with the tools to manage your fitness on your own terms.

01

More than a symptom or an outcome

Most gyms see a goal. Most clinics see a diagnosis. We see the whole person — your history, your life, and where you actually want to go.

02

Sustainability over intensity

Programming is built with longevity in mind. Safety and skill come before load. We are not interested in breaking you down to build you up.

03

Accountability that goes both ways

We partner with you — coaches who know your name, your goals, and your limits. The community keeps you consistent. We equip you to own your fitness, not depend on us forever.

04

A gym for everyone

We are dedicated to a fitness environment that is safe, accessible, and respectful of everyone — regardless of race, economic status, gender identity, size, age, or physical appearance.

I never liked to workout. That changed when my husband and I joined Bridge Performance Plus. I'm a workout convert thanks to Jeannie, Amy, and Astrid!"

Meet the founders.

Two coaches with clinical backgrounds who built the gym they kept wishing existed.

Amy Pike

Co-Founder · Physical Therapist

Amy Pike, MPT

11 years of inpatient physical therapy before co-founding Bridge Performance. Works with post-surgical patients, complex histories, and anyone who needs a coach who sees the clinical picture.

Astrid Castaneda

Co-Founder · Strength Coach

Astrid Castaneda

Competitive Olympic weightlifter with a BS in Exercise Science Education from Ohio State. Coaching functional fitness since 2017. Leads Bridge Brigade.

Two physical therapists. Years of watching patients discharge from clinical care with no clear path forward. The gyms they returned to didn't know their history, didn't ask, and couldn't help.

This gym is our answer — a place where clinical precision meets real-world strength training.

Clinical precision, not clinical distance

The science informs everything. The warmth is just who we are.

Every body is worth training

Post-surgical, perimenopausal, 68 years old, competitive athlete — everyone trains here.

Small groups stay small on purpose

Bigger classes would mean more revenue and worse coaching. We chose worse revenue.
