The Team
Clinically grounded. Seriously coached. Every person on this team was chosen because they see the whole picture.
Who we are
A physical therapist and a competitive weightlifter. Years of watching people fall through the gap between the clinic and the gym. They built the place that fills it.
Every coach at Bridge was chosen because they see the whole picture - your history, your body, and where you actually want to go.
Clinical precision, not clinical distance
The science informs everything. The warmth is just who we are.
Every body is worth training
Post-surgical, perimenopausal, 68 years old, competitive athlete. Everyone trains here.
Small groups stay small on purpose
Bigger classes would mean more revenue and worse coaching. We chose worse revenue.
Community isn't a feature
It's the point. The friends you make here are part of why you stay.
Co-Founder · Physical Therapist · Coach
Amy earned her Masters of Physical Therapy from California State University, Fresno, and spent 11 years in inpatient physical therapy before co-founding Bridge Performance. She coaches people who have found both healthcare and the fitness industry to be wanting - and builds programs around the whole person, not the symptom or the outcome. Her clinical background informs everything at Bridge.
Co-Founder · Strength Coach · USAW Olympic Weightlifting Coach
Astrid holds a BS in Exercise Science Education from The Ohio State University and has trained and competed in Olympic weightlifting. She began coaching functional fitness in 2017 and has expertise coaching collegiate and high school athletes, managing gyms, and developing specialized programs. She leads Weightlifting and brings both competitive experience and deep technical coaching to every session.
Physical Therapist · Bridge+ Coach
Jeannie is a licensed physical therapist and Amy Pike's mother. She runs every Bridge+ session - bringing decades of clinical and practical experience to a program designed specifically for people who want to stay strong and independent as they age. Her presence in every class is the reason Bridge+ is not a senior fitness class.
